Provided technical support and analysis services for the Fire & Gas Team. Instruct technicians and engineering staff in code issues, technical subjects, and investigation results. Managed projects to field verify and correct existing databases of Fire Protection Systems (fire, gas, sprinkler, and special hazard systems) and to determine the obsolescence status of that equipment. Implemented automated data collection systems for maintenance activities using handheld computers to improve cost effectiveness. Integrated the Fire & Gas Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) database into an advanced enterprise wide, Oracle based maintenance / cost control program. Developed, performed, and documented procedures for scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of various life safety systems. Reviewed and approved the design of upgrades, repairs, and engineered solutions of fire protection systems.
